Meet Nykole Tyson: A visionary media and community advocate deeply rooted in the vibrant landscape of St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. Nykole's journey began at St. Croix Educational Complex High School, where she cultivated her passion for communication. A proud alumna of William McDaniel College, Maryland, Nykole holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication with minors in Business and Journalism.

With a diverse professional background, Nykole has contributed her storytelling prowess to BET Weekend Magazine and marketing marvels to Black Entertainment Television. She has orchestrated television shows for CBS-TV2, Caribbean Television Network TEMPO, and worked as a freelance producer for Maryland Public Television and Virgin Islands Public Television.

A dedicated public service advocate, Nykole served as the Director of Communications & Researcher for a U.S. Virgin Islands senator for eight years. During this tenure, she pioneered key legislations, explored mainland cannabis initiatives.

Transitioning into healthcare stewardship, Nykole spent two impactful years as the Territorial Director of Public Relations (PR) for the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Health in which she earned recognition from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for effective public communication, featured on the CDC Blog. Her strategic PR initiatives spanned St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John.

In 2011, Nykole founded NT Media Productions, the visionary force behind the globally acclaimed TV show, "I'm Making It Happen®," reaching audiences in 19 countries, five states, and Toronto, Canada. Her captivating presence extends to a weekly live radio show, establishing her as a distinguished media entrepreneur.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Nykole is a committed mentor, inspiring students since 2009 at various schools and facilities. Her impact further extends through The Make It Happen Foundation, Inc., where she channels her passion for uplifting and empowering young minds for a brighter future.

Guided by the motto, "Don’t wait for someone to discover you; discover your own self," Nykole Tyson continues to inspire and make a lasting impact on both local and global communities.
